Me: "Like they are actually going to hear you."
Dad: "You love boys who don't know you exist."

I truly love the era of music with Celine Dion and many others. It seems that music brought everyone together back then, whereas today it seems that ‘hating’ is the trend.

Seventeen more days until I depart from Las Vegas, NV to Santa Clara, CA for CNH District Convention. I’m scared for training, but at the same time, I’m excited since it will be my first DCON and I’ll be getting installed, too. I have no idea to expect, not just for DCON, but next year in general.

When I am at any Key Club event...

It takes my mind elsewhere. It makes problems and other situations seem to fade away for the moment. Whether it be a DCM, a community service event, or Fall Rally/DCON, it takes all my worries away and focuses on having fun with good friends and most importantly, helping a good cause and giving back. I guess that’s one of spells to the Magic of Service.
I love how I no longer have ‘bored’ days. I either have productive or relaxing days. I always have some kind of work to do or I’ll be out hanging with friends/family or I’d simply just have something to do that day. Seventeen: You've said girls should embrace their curves. Why did you think it important to make that statement?
Jennifer Lawrence: When I was playing Mystique in X-Men, I remember thinking, If I'm going to be naked in paint in front of the entire world, I'm going to look like a woman. I'm going to have curves and have boobs and have a butt. Because girls are going to look at that, and if I look like a scarecrow, they are going to think, Oh, that's normal. It's not normal. I'm just so sick of these young girls with diets. I remember when I was 13 and it was cool to pretend to have an eating disorder because there were rumors that Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie were anorexic. I thought it was crazy. I went home and told my mom, "Nobody's eating bread--I just had to finish everyone's burgers". I think it's really important for girls to have people to look up to and feel good about themselves.
"So what do you do in Key Club?"

It’s amazing how Key Club can always change my mood. :)
I was stressing just a few moments ago because of so many things with school. Projects, homework, tests. But then I take a few minutes to start doing some Key Club work, sending out my first update. I posted on our fb page as well. And I don’t know what it was. I just became a giddy little girl, so excited! Although I’m...
